GPS Sprayers with Individual Nozzle Control
A GPS sprayer knows exactly where it has already sprayed. On our Cleveland Gambetti GPS sprayers, RTK GPS places every nozzle to within 2cm. Each nozzle switches off over turf it has already treated and back on over untreated turf, and the application rate stays on target as the operator speeds up or slows down. The result is no overlaps, no missed strips and a record of where the sprayer has been.
We introduced GPS nozzle control to golf in 2011, and we install, map and support every system ourselves.
How our GPS sprayers work
2cm accuracy from our own RTK network. Our sprayers position themselves from the Cleveland RTK network, so there is no satellite drift from one day to the next. The first year of the RTK connection is included; after that it is £895 a year.
Your course is mapped once. We can attend at installation and map every green, fairway or pitch, using an electric pedestrian unit for pinpoint accuracy. Once an area is mapped it is fixed, so you never need to map it again. The sprayer then treats that area nozzle by nozzle, without overlaps or missed areas, and will not spray outside the map you are working on.
Vario Select or PWM. Vario Select picks the right nozzle combination for your forward speed and target rate. PWM (Flowtron) pulses each nozzle to hold the rate. On our GPS Pro Sport sprayers you choose either when you order, at no additional charge.
Installed and taught on site. Every GPS sprayer is installed on site by Cleveland, with full training for your operators. GPS mapping is linked with Google maps, with field guidance on screen.

Auto steering and upgrades
GPS auto steering. We can fit RTK auto steering to your tractor, or turn a Toro Workman, Jacobsen Cushman XD Truxter or John Deere ProGator into a GPS-steered vehicle for straight or curved lines on fairways and greens, for spraying or top dressing. The G7 auto steering kit for a utility vehicle is £11,780 fitted on site, including the first year of RTK connection, and it can later control our sprayers.
Already own a Gambetti sprayer? Automatic rate control can be added to any Gambetti sprayer, and the system can be upgraded to GPS section or individual nozzle control at any time.

Can GPS be added to my existing sprayer?
