Since the turn of the year, orders for new self propelled sprayers has increased for Bargam here in the UK. The new cab on the Grimpeur 4000lt machine has really turned heads and has helped to make it an even greater machine. Another great bit of news is the Grimpeur 2500lt machine is going to be available with a 3000lt tank from the end of April 2014 making it one of the highest capacity low ground pressure self propelled sprayers.

It seems that now that new sales of Bargam Grimpeur self propelled sprayers has doubled in the last 2 years, the second hand values have shot up, with the now proven long term reliability of these units (mechanical axles), takes away the worry of huge bills for wheel motor repairs associated with hydrostatic dive machines as they age. Coupled with the better performance given by mechanical drive over hydrostatic all adds to make the used machines more sought after.

In mid December we set up a new self propelled sprayer near Leamington Spa. The sprayer, sold to Hadley Farms Ltd is a 2500lt 24m LGP machine. Mr Hadley chose it, due to its robustness and its ability to accommodate a large wheel. He felt that it was the only machine that could offer true LGP ability and that was not too light and built to last.
